Combi version!
Apr 29th, 2012 at 6:10pm
Print Post
I would love to see a combi version of this marvelous  aircraft. It would be great to be able to choose whether to load seat pallets or ULD's through the load control panel. This would require the left rear airstair door as well. And since most combis were bush birds, we would also need gravel kits!

There is a Combi version. We will have to wait and see if the extras get
added to version 1.1. There is a ULD loader for the for the large cargo door.

We have a cargo version, now we need palletized seats and a rear airstair door. A combi is a combination cargo/pax with seats in the rear of the fuselage and cargo forward.

I know what a "C" version is. The Finnair model is a "C" model which I use the Canadian North Textures on. It has the windows and I have GSX to support the rear. I know the model is not complete, but works for me.

I've been wanting to see the Canadian North textures on the C! Could you post a screenshot for me? Thanks!  Grin

How come there is only the one cargo loader for the upper deck. I seem to remember my capt sim 757 cargo having two loaders. Upper and lower ?

I do not have the 757 so I cannot comment on that. Here's my theory ;
One Door = One loader. There maybe a lower loader coming for the lower
door. Tongue

The 737 (same as the 727 and 707) lower decks are too low for the full size ULD loader.

Not sure if we'll ever see a lower deck loader. The 707 hasn't got a lower deck loader yet. It is only the 757 and 767 that have them.

Hmm. I wonder if the 777 will have two loaders or not. Huh

I used to fly on Mark Air in Alaska back in the late 80's. They had this exact set up. We pax sat in the rear while the pallets rode in first class up front!

I too would like to see a true "combi" with this set up. Please add me to the list of Combi guys!

The following thread had a good picture of the set up Alaska Airlines used. This is how a Combi worked in the arctic!

I'll second that! And it'll be awesome to have Combi Adv equipped with those to replicate some of the current Canadian birds.

@ mervic
That looks really good! Can you please tell me how you got the Canadian North Textures to work on the combi model? When I did it the textures worked but when you opened the cargo door it was all black! Also could you please PM me your GSX settings? I would love to have back stairs and a back catering truck but I don;t know how to do it  Sad

Thanks in advance
