Not Really. I'm pretty sure they use a stencil. I saw how they painted the KLM.

Depending on how they look scaled down on the paint kit, you could get aways with murder in the detail. 
It's a doable repaint.  A lot of masking invloved.  Lot of time too.

That my friends, is a great invention called: The Decal. They put the decals on, and put a couple coats of clear over that. Thats how they get the Frontier animals on the tail. For FSX, I'm sure its tricky Wink

In FSX there is no need to paint each face, all you need are pics, resize them and and create 1 layer and paste it on the fuselage. It will take a lot of time but not impossible.
