Help totally confused

Questioning Hi all, on the 21st Dec 2011, I purchased the captain Sim 737-100 Exterior Model V0.2 (which I assume was the Base Pack), and the 737-200 Expansion Model V1.0.  I have since recieved emails from Captain Sim regarding updates and, what would appear to be a change as to which model is now the base pack and which is the expansion pack.  I have to admit that I have found these emails very unclear, confusing and not worded very well at all.  I am now totally unsure as to which model is which.  I have tried downloading these new updates some weeks ago. Followed the instuctions of first deleting the old version and then reinstalling the new, only to find that the new version doesn't run properly (missing graphics).  So I am now back to my original versions that I first purchased in 2011.  Now that Captain Sim has completed it's 737 line-up, I wish to purchase the new add-ons.  HuhCan anyone please help and explain what Captain Sim has done with these early releases and am I supposed to have these "changed about" updates?

Thanks Ged.

I know it gets a bit confusing, I hope I can help. So here goes.

Captain Sim changed their mind and decided to make the 737-200 the Base Pack and the 737-100 the Expansion Model.

Simplified means to get to the Base Pack plus Expansion Models (I hope):

1) Create a new folder to download everything to. This way all the files that will be the latest versions, will be in the one place.
2) Check-in to Your Profile > Product > Extended Download Service > Get New Links - Do this for both the 737-100 and 737-200 and download them into your newly created folder from step 1.
3) Go here: http://www.captainsim.com/products/x737/discount.html, login (if needed) and click on ADD TO CART. (you are still entitled to your 10 Euro discount).
4) After receiving the email with the link to the 737-200 Base Pack Upgrade, download it to your newly created folder from step 1.
5) Install them in this order: 737-200 Exterior model - 737-200 Base Pack Upgrade - *737-100 Expansion Model(s)

*Expansion Models can be installed in any order, so if you buy one or both of the other two, there is no specific order to install them after the 737-200 upgrade is installed.

Hope this helps.

Thank's Markoz will do as instructed and hope for the best.  Do either of the old versions need to be deleted or am I just upgrading?

Thanks Ged.

Completely uninstall the previous versions. And...

1) Make sure the [FSX]\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-100 and CS_B737-200 folders are deleted. You will need to add any 3rd party liveries again so their texture.xxx folders might still be there.
2) Also make sure that the [FSX]\Captain_Sim\737 is deleted.

Once that's done, you are ready to install everything, as explained in my previous reply. Wink
