Now that you have mentioned Panel Studio, I'm thinking that this is what you were wanting all along. If it is, I'm sorry I didn't figure it out sooner.
If this IS what you want, you will need to add the GPS to the panel.cfg. Here is how:
Make sure you backup your panel.cfg BEFORE making any changes!!!Open the panel.cfg with Notepad.
Under [Windows Titles] make he next window Window02=GPS. Like this:
[Window Titles]
Window00=Main
Window01=Simicons
Window02=GPSNext. Scroll down to [VCockpit01], place the cursor on the empty line above it and add this:
[Window02]
background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=456,378
position=0
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,456,378That's it, you have added the MSFS default GPS to the B-52.
When in the B-52 in FSX, press SHIFT+3 and you will have the GPS there for you to use.
position=0 means it will be displayed in the top left corner of the screen. The positions=
n works like this:
0 1 2
3 4 5
6 7 8
with 0 being top left, 8 being bottom right and 4 being the center of the screen. You can change it to suit yourself, 0 is where I wanted it to be.
If you can't or don't want to do that yourself, just email me using the email link in this reply and I will send you a copy of my my modified panel.cfg.
