What variant is the flight model based on?

Hello!

I'm wondering what variant the CS707 flight model is based on. By comparing the take-off speeds from the CS manual with a Pan Am manual, I believe it is the old cowl model, however I would like someone to confirm this.  Smiley

Thanks in advance!

Yep. me too have that data for old cowl. Fuel usage however little less than this tables for old cowl shows. climb time to cruise FL for heavy loaded plane little less too, but closer.

Since the checklist at the FE desk says "707-3K1C", which to me is an indication that the variant they produced the CS707 from is an old Tarom Boeing 707-3K1C. (At least at the beginning according to my Airliners.net research)

EDIT:

After understanding the difference between advanced cowl and old cowl, I can say that Boeing 707-3K1C is an ADV variant. Now this confuses me since the CS manual gives clues that indicates an old cowl variant, while the checklist in their VC indicates an ADV variant.  Huh
