Nice one on the sub level cargo compartment. That's a new method to save fuel costs I guess, they only simulate loading the baggage, but they don't fly it.  Grin Seriously, good catch.

I've posted over at FSDT for the GPU wish.  Smiley

When I was moving the possition up and sdown on the Cargo 1 position, I must have been using small increments! So it never "surfaced". Well it was about 2 metres (or was it only 200cm) beneath the ground. Makes me feel like an idiot that I didn't change that! I must have been having a "blonde"* moment. Cheesy

Thanks. Lets hope a lot of others do too, that way we might get it. Grin

* No offence meant to blonde people, it's just an expression.

Good that AES finally has some stiff competition. Thanks for the heads-up. Smiley

Here is my gsx.cfg settings for the CS 737-200. It also works with the -200ADV, -200F and -200C.

Code
Select All
[aircraft]
nosegear = 9.24
refueling = 1

[exit1]
pos = -1.66 7.98 -0.951946408916 7.0
code = (A:EXIT OPEN:0,bool)
name = Forward Passenger Door

[exit2]
pos = -1.46 -10.39 -0.211409673179 -12.2
code = (L:PassDoor2)
name = Rear Passenger Door

[exit3]
remove = 1

[exit4]
remove = 1

[service1]
pos = 1.57 8.21 -0.915966554559 -7.0
code = (L:ServDoor1)
name = Forward Service Door

[service2]
pos = 1.38 -10.4 -0.191238195213 12.2
code = (L:ServDoor2)
name = Rear Service Door

[cargo1]
pos = 0.78998584944 4.29149034114 -1.98413511323 -0.6
code = (L:CargoDoor1On)
name = Forward Cargo Door
uldcode = BELT

[cargo2]
pos = 0.88 -6.77 -1.49440157209 10.2
code = (L:CargoDoor2On)
name = Rear Cargo Door
uldcode = BELT

Any entries that are not required for the -200F and -200C can be removed. Beneath the entry, just delete everything beneath it and add remove = 1, as is seen in [exit3] and [exit4] in the code.

[exit4]
remove = 1

Here is the settings for the CS 737-100
Code
Select All
[aircraft]
nosegear = 7.93663986804

code = (A:EXIT OPEN:0,bool)
name = Forward Passenger Door

[exit2]
pos = -1.39 -9.31 -0.210261318083 -10.4
code = (L:PassDoor2)
name = Rear Passenger Door

[exit3]
remove = 1

[exit4]
remove = 1

[service1]
pos = 1.39166811808 7.20334102396 -0.758373930982 -7.0

Thanks for sharing, Mark.  Smiley

Perhaps we can collect the settings for all planes missing on the list of natively supported ones.

Good question.

There are various cases when it comes to the presence and need of that file. Lets see where GSX in general gets aircraft data from.

1) aircraft is natively supported by GSX. No gsx.cfg file present.
2) aircraft already has an intelliscene.cfg (that's the one from the another company AES addon). No gsx.cfg file present.
3) aircraft isn't supported natively and there also is no other config file. No gsx.cfg file present and GSX reads the aircraft's data from the aircraft.cfg.
4) user made gsx.cfg present in e.g. the SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-200 folder. That's a simple text file you can create and copy Mark's setting into it. Just check that it really reads 'gsx.cfg', not gsx.cfx.txt or something.

For the gsx.cfg itself, you can have two places to look for. The first and best one may be that SimObjects\Airplanes\aircraft name folder. Place it there and GSX will read it.

However, as soon as you edit any 'template' (numbers 1-4 above), GSX will save all future edits at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes. So the most current one if something was edited by the user will always be at AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes.

I think one should just edit the plane until it fits and then grab that current gsx.cfg file and save it. From the priority, the one at AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes (if present!) will always win over the other one.

Thanks. I found 737-100 cfg.file in AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes.
1- I don't have 737-200 gsx.cfg file in Virtuali.

I can activate GSX for 737-200boarding, but keep getting bib and warning as"Open Exit 2" Rear passenger door is already opened.

Main cargo door conveyor belt there but it doesn't load. Rear conveyor belt loads well.

What do you suggest? Smiley

Ah, that's easy. For any aircraft with problems in GSX just open the GSX menu 'edit aircraft'.

You will then see the dialogue like this.

Then you edit the parameters as needed, which works with the numbers alone or in the 3D view. The latter needs the 'slew' keyboard commands from FSX. Find them repeated in the manual for GSX.

You will see that the parameters let you choose the way GSX checks if a door is opened or closed. In the above screenshot, that's 'door with open/close checks as FSX door #2'. You can set it to another number or turn the check off, so you will never receive warnings.

And the best part is that all of the above isn't needed if you have some guy like Mark posting his settings.  Smiley Just copy his settings, create a cfg file called gsx.cfg (mind not to call it gsx.cfg.txt) and place that file in the corresponding folder at e.g. SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B737-200.

If you would have some gsx.cfg for that aircraft in the AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes folder, delete it there to force the right gsx.cfg to be read. Keep in mind that, as soon as you start editing the settings again, GSX will create a higher prioritized gsx.cfg file at AppData\Roaming\Virtuali\Airplanes again.

Mine is still a Work In Progress! Whenever I change the settings, the 737's nose comes up quite a bit (actually the whole plane does, but the nose is the worst), so l might need to lower the height to account for that change. I found it very easy to get used to what need to be done to make those settings (once CoolP help me by figuring out what was wrong with the front cargo location).

I tried using a AKD loader on the 200C and 200F, but it drives through the aircraft, and it faces the wrong way (but still unloads the cargo). It just looks so wrong that I abandoned the idea. It is designed for the cargo doors only being on the right side of the aircraft. Sad

By the way. The height is relative to the ground, not the centre point of the aircraft!

Good catch on the height information. Well, keep us posted on the templates. I'm sure that a set for all CS planes is of big use for the folks looking for a copy and paste solution.

I'm still on my first set, but I only run the -200 and -ADV so far and it looks reasonably good.

If it came to that, I will put them all in a ZIP file and share that. It's a lot easier than copying and pasting everything umpteen dozen times! Wink

Thanks again, It is 2AM, I just completed all cfg.files and solved the exit 2 problem.  Smiley

Mark,
Thanks for your GSX_cfg setup. It did work well. Smiley

That's good to hear, Ahmet. So those next flights of you will start and end with proper loading, taxi and so on. Nice!
