767-300ER questions

does the Captain sim 767-300ER have the same amount of fuel capacity as the real life 767-300ER. if you go to Wikipedia or boeings website they will say the specifics of the 767-300ER. When i Do a flight from CDG to ORD with the 767 i am always pessimistic if the CS 767-300 will do the Whole flight, It is a very long stretch of nautical miles. Doesn't some 767-300ER have some special type of wing extensions like the on the 777-200LR. I was On a flight From Paris To Chicago with a United 767-300ER and it had the Special Wing extensions. I will try to find a Picture. One last thing I was doing some stall testing in the 767-300 at Vs (Minimum speed at which the airplane is controllable, landing gear up and flaps up), The airplane was almost going into a flat spin stall but i got in control with the airplane with some rudder corrections. let me tell you it was not. Then I tried to stall the airplane in Vso (landing configuration). It was like stalling a C172 but with a higher load, there was no spin no drama just lack of lift that's it.

Maybe i am Wrong with the wing extensions but if any body has a picture of or any insight on it i would like to now.

Hi 79847fairpilot

The 767-300 has a range of about 6000nm. It carries 160,264 pounds of fuel (23,920 US gallons). It's pretty close to what Wikipedia specifies.

The winglets make no difference to the CS767 performance or range. They can be added/removed using the 767 ACE (see image).

Hope this helps.

Mark

i know that there is a wing let variant in the ace, i use it all the time. and thank you for clearing up with the fuel loads.  the wing kind off looked like  the KLM 777, i think i am wrong about the wing extension because i was on the Flight from CDG to ORD. That was about three years ago so my memory is blurry and maybe i was looking at the wing at an angle so it may be looked like it was 777-200LR wing.

with the stalling problem you should try stalling the 767-300ER with no and landing gear up and with throttle at idle. When I did it I almost got into a spin.
