I installed a livery by McPhat studios today, put the folder in, changed the .cfg file like you normally do, but when I tried to save it says 'Access Denied' message with no options. Any advice please?  Huh

You need to edit the aircraft.cfg using administrative rights.

Try this. Right Mouse Button click on Notepad. From the menu that comes up select "Run as administrator". Now click on File > Open then navigate to FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B52 and open the aircraft.cfg. Make the changes needed and then save.

Hope this helps

But now it has another message saying I have to put it in my documents.

Try this.

Copy the aircraft.cfg from FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B52 to the desktop. Open it as an administrator and make your changes, then copy and paste it back into the FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B52 folder. If asked to overwrite the aircraft.cfg, say yes. Make sure that the aircraft.cfg is backed up before overwriting it!

You finally got the livery added and so you then went flying. This led you to forget to say you got it working. That's perfectly understandable. Grin

I'm glad you got it working.

Happy flying.
