Compatability Issue???

I've edited the CSWeapon file so i have unlimited ammo. I'm using CSLear 45 and weapons won't work. I think its because I'm not compatible with SP2. Is that the problem or is it a scripting error in the CSWeapon file? Sad Huh

If you are seeing all zeros in the Weapon Panel, then it might be a script error.

Your unlimited ammo editing should look like this: <Unlimited>1</Unlimited>

If you ave anything showing up different, then you will get the error. It only has to be one small mistake in the CSWeapon.xml for it to stop working.

Hi Mark I've checked the unlimited ammo section and its as it should be but it still won't work. Any ideas? Also I'm having problems with the HUD. It's not see-through.

You will need to make sure that you have either SP2 or Acceleration for FSX. They are a part of the Minimum System Requirements to be able to use Weapon for FSX properly.

- Microsoft® Flight Simulator X SP2 or Flight Simulator X Acceleration.

There are links for SP1 for FSX (different languages) here: http://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/FlightSimulato...

And there are links SP2 for FSX (different languages) here: http://www.microsoft.com/Products/Games/FSInsider/downloads/Pages/FlightSimulato...

You must install SP1 before installing SP2, so download and install them both just to be on the safe side. If you still have problems, we'll try something else.

I installed SP2 and there was an error message:

Flight simulator can't run some of the features and will now shut down.
Re-installing the program might fix the problem.

I think its because my shader model is 2.0 which is not a big enough model.
