Hello everybody, does anyone knows by chance if it's possible to change some numbers or something in a .cfg file or somewhere to make jetways set on the second passager door like sometimes in real heavies¿?

I could be wrong, and somebody like Mark is going to be more knowledgeable on the subject, but I believe that the "Main Exit" (the one which opens when you press Shift+E) is the only door which is actually recognized by FSX as a door, thus I don't believe there is any way to set it to a different door.  Undecided

Although I haven't tried it, these are the entries that determine the location of doors:

[exits]
number_of_exits = 4
exit.0 = 0.4,  63, -9,  7, 0
exit.1 = 0.4,  73, -3,  4, 2
exit.2 = 0.4,  43,  8, -4, 1
exit.3 = 0.4, -40,  8, -4, 1

exit.0 is the main door, not sure what the other three are though. For a guess, I would switch exit.0 with exit.1 and see if that does it. Like this:

[exits]
number_of_exits = 4
exit.0 = 0.4,  73, -3,  4, 2
exit.1 = 0.4,  63, -9,  7, 0
exit.2 = 0.4,  43,  8, -4, 1
exit.3 = 0.4, -40,  8, -4, 1

Considering that there actually is exit information in the aircraft.cfg file for the other doors, I'd say that that should work.

As it is show (in the original) exit.o is 63 feet forward, 9 feet to the left (I think) and 7 feet above of the CG.
The last digits are:

0 = Main
1 = Cargo
2 = Emergency

So they will need to be changed as well.

By the way, the exit in the VC view is not in the same place as it is in the exterior view, as the jetway does not line up perfectly.

This is a known 'bug', if we could call it that, so hopefully it will get fixed in a future update.

Ok; if you want to set your jetway at the second passenger door, change your exit entries for this:

[exits]
number_of_exits = 4
exit.0 = 0.4,  28, -9,  7, 0
exit.1 = 0.4,  73, -3,  4, 2
exit.2 = 0.4,  43,  8, -4, 1
exit.3 = 0.4, -40,  8, -4, 1

The coloured number was the only one that was changed.
Now, there is a known problem with the jetways dissapearing sections when they extend at some point, guess something to live with  Grin

Well done. Smiley

As for living with disappearing section from the jeytways, it's just like living with the jetways burying themselves in the fuselage on some aircraft. I can live with that. Grin
