Has anybody managed to modify the fs9 version VC night lighting to make this aircraft flyable?

The aircraft is actually quite good, a nice mix of system/visual detail however, the VC night lighting is so bright and unrealistic the aircraft is just not flyable beyond sunset.

I know somebody has made a mod for the FSX version, but has anybody fixed the FS9 one?
