Okay, here again is another issue that what works on FS9 version of CS C-130 doesn't work on the FSX version.   Controlling the plane on ice is quite a task with the FSX version, the Ski does not turn with the nose wheel as it does on the FS9 version.

Trying to start engines also on the ice is an exercise in futility as the plane is sliding all over the place due the fact the blades do not go to no pitch.  Always some forward thrust applied even on low speed ground idle and the condition throttle quadrant in ground range.    The flaw in this is the lack of ability to take the condition levers to adjust pitch of the blades.
