The weather radar will work in anything--but it's just a panel (i.e. it won't appear in the VC).

In theory, you could search a free spot in the panel of the NGX and place the gauge there, but that's more than a simple copy job and it might not work well since the 3D model interferes with the gauge at some points.
Even more in theory, the lower DU may be a place for the WR to work since it's flat and offers an area to easily place another gauge. You would have to trial&error a bit though.

Don't worry, no harm done.  They may move this thread either way.
Maybe you can post some screens over there if you succeed getting the WR into the panel. As said, that lower DU may be a possible tradeoff solution and also offers a flat space for another gauge.
