Hi wingclip.
I don't think you do anything with it except read it. If you open it with Windows (Windows sees it as a compressed folder) or WinZip, 7zip or WinRAR, there are TEXT files inside that you can read. It tells you the information on the military traffic scenery that CS included in the package.
ICAO id: EDAC
Lat/Lon/Alt: 50.981816612, 12.506361008, 640 ft
Number of operations per day: 192
Approximate wakeup and landing times (every day unless noted):
Time Day IFR/VFR Departure/Arrival AC Type Tail # Density T/G
00:00Z IFR arrival from EDDC F4N N00021 1% 00:02Z IFR arrival from EDDC F4N N00022 1% 00:04Z IFR arrival from EDDC F4N N00023 1%
00:06Z IFR arrival from EDDC F4N N00024 1%
Looking at the above info, an
F4N (registration N00021) comes from EDDC and arrives at
EDAC at 00:00Z (Midnight GMT/UTC). It could be that it
leaves EDDC at 00:00Z, but I haven't looked into it to know for sure.
This info about wakeup and landing times confuses me.
Another one,
F4N (registration N00022) arrives at EDAC (or departs EDDC) at
00:02Z.
It goes on like that down to:
23:58Z IFR arrival from EDDC F4N N00020 1%
So it covers 23 hours and 58 minutes of military flight schedules for each of the areas covered in the TEXT files.
Mark
EDIT: I just noticed that some of the entries in the text files say: departure to EDDC
! How dumb (or stupid) of me not to notice it before!
