	Yeah. Very sad, I remember the first Space Shuttle launch in April 1981. It was awesome. What are the going to replace it with? Thanks to Captain Sim we still have a SSO that we can fly! Mark

	I have some friends who work for NASA and they said that it will be replaced by a rocket (like the ones used in the early days of space-travel) but it will be state of the art. It looks pretty cool. Here's a picture of what I think it is.

	That looks really nice. BUT. Does that mean the Astronauts come back to Earth in a capsule and a Splashdown? Charles Duke of Apollo 16 called it a crashdown because the capsule hits the water so hard! I thought hey would at least try to maintain some form of winged "shuttle" for the return trip. It would be a lot better IMO. Mark Beam me up Scotty! Would be the best way by far!

	Maybe they will use special Very High Altitude Parachutes for their return to Terra Forma.

The Saturn V was considered state of the art, too. It's sad to see the Shuttle go, I went down to Cape Canaveral last winter but it had already been retired.
