Black Screens with CS Planes.....

....as much as I like the CS planes with their hi-res textures, I noticed a very annoying and frustrating problem when using these with other complex addons like UTX and GEX: the screen goes black when exiting an FSX dialog or FSX crashes when entering one, although I dont have any real performance problems. I only have this problem with CS planes, what does not surprise me because they are the most FPS-intensive planes I have. I have been fighting against this issue for months, including tries to swap my video card, reinstall everything and other things.
I have an ATI HD5770 1GB installed, so please tell me if 1 GB of video memory is really enough for planes like the 707 and 767 when being used in densely populated areas, if not, please update the system requirements, thx.

1gig is more than enough, I have had the same issue over time but with other payware from IRIS ( fighter jets ), Carenado ( Small GA aircraft ), CLS ( MD80 and MD87 ) etc.. its not an aircraft/scenery bug but more of fsx bug with modern hardware that can happen from time to time Sad

If you use an app like GPU-Z you can monitor the amount of gfx memory flight sim is using. On my pc it tends to use a max of 480meg but if i max out the AA quality i can force the sim to use almost all of the gfx memory i have.
