i had experienced same problem, Mark's advise has worked for me:

Quote:
Did you do the registry clean (KB #685) before reinstalling?

How to clean Registry:
1. Uninstall the product
2. Go to Start> Run. Type: regedit, click OK.
3. Find the product entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\ (please note, for Windows 64bit versions it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\)
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\C130XPRO
Make sure you are going to delete correct folder!
4. Delete the product entry folder.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Install the product.

If that still doesn't fix the problem. Use the Extended Download Service, download a new file and install that to see if it fixes it.

Cleaning the registry refers to the removal of the CS 707-300 entry AFTER you uninstall it. It means that you have to activate the installer before you can install the aircraft again. The error that you are seeing can often happen if something went wrong during the last activation process that you did. Generally, you only have to active they installer if you have reinstalled Windows, on a new computer, or a new operating system. This is because the registry entry is not removed when you uninstall the Captain Sim add-on.
