Hi,

On which side of the FMC will I enter the wind / wind direction? Does this affect my flight in any way?
Does this input work? Or is it just a fake?

Can I see the impact on the weather radar? Even if I download a weather scenario?

And finally how is the weather radar working? Which button do I have to press first?
(….yes I am reading the manuall….can`t keep everything. Thanks for your patience.)

slowley I getting used to fly this great bird. Good job Captain Sim.

Thank you!

Fabian

What I am about to write applies to the 752 and I image it also applies to the 762 and 763. I just don't fly the 762 or 763 that often.

Forget about making any wind speed and direction entries. That make absolutely no difference in T/D, ETA, Descent, etc. As you put it they are fake. The last I read was that rather than correct the problem with wind entries, any reference to and description of the WIND PAGE would be removed from the manuals.

I never use the radar. I kind of semifake. So I can't answer any questions about it. I think its more eye candy than real.

Thanks

I am not saying its fake it's just semifake. It's not too reliabile. Anyway, operation and theory of the radar can be found in 'Captain 767' FLIGHT MANUAL, VERSION: 10 SEPTEMBER 2009, PART II, Aircraft Systems, page 94 to 99.
