B727 version 2.4 update
Jun 25th, 2011 at 2:21am
Print Post
Hello Simmers,

I just updated my Captain Sim B727-100-200-Freighters from versions from 2.2 to 2.4, and looks like problem?

Ex. no yoke in VC, can’t use switches on O/head console or any other switches & no control surface movement.

Check for version 2.3, looks like replace by 2.4.

Has any else had the same issue?

Thanks & Regards
Matt G

Make sure that the 727-100 Base Pack is also version 2.4 or that will cause problems like you are having.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for quick response.

I did check that, the reason I was aware of the 2.4 update. Was that I purchased the B727-200, & when I couldn’t use the ACE to mod & delete some livers, that’s when I noticed the updates weren’t the same.

So did down load all 2.4 updates, using my O/no. but B4 installing the 2.4. I did uninstall the 2.2 versions

But another question,

I’ve check CS web, are there any links back to 2.3? Would like to get back flying B727-100-200 & Freighter.

Thanks

Unfortunately not. Once Captain Sim release a new update to a product, the old one is no longer available.  Sad

Did you uninstall the Freighter Expansion model before installing the 2.4 Base Pack. Then reinstalled the Freighter Expansion?

You could try a complete uninstall of the 727-100 Base Pack and 727 Freighter Expansion model (KB #685), then reinstall them both. Install the Base Pack first, then the Freighter Expansion.

Hello Mark,

Yes did uninstall all versions 2.2 B727-base-freighter & then uninstalled B727-200 v2.4 after realizing the different versions.

Reinstalled V2.4 of B727-Base-200-Freighter. in that order. Still the same issue.
