Disappearing AI

I'm not sure if this is an FSX or Weapon problem, but I'm having an issue where AI aircraft won't appear unless I'm very (almost dangerously) close to them. Does anybody else have this problem?

Thanks,

My problem (now that i finally fixed weapons) is that they disappear after a little damage. Never heard of yours.  Undecided

Can you explain "a little damage" in more detail?

The reason I'm asking is that it depends on what aircraft you hit with which weapon. For example. If you hit a C172 with a AIM9, one hit and it's gone, it disappears. If you hit an A321 with one AIM9, it will lose altitude and continue on along the ground. I have also seen them disappear under the ground and continue on towards its destination. It's really funny when they do that. Hit it with a couple more and it blows up and disappears. So it is normal for them to disappear once they are blown up. Well that's what I find happens.

well, I have world of ai (AMAZING!) and I hit them on the ground, but when they smoke a little, after a minute or so they just disappear.  I probably need to run FSX as administrator, but it didn't work on the old computer.
