An ILS Landing.

Okay, I'm just going straight to the question. How do you perform an ILS landing with the Captain Sim 767? I punch in the right numbers and frequencies, but ALT hold always seems to mess with me when I hit LOC and then APP when at the correct height! The Auto-Land never connects. Please help  Smiley Is there something I'm doing wrong?  Huh

Make sure you are entering the ILS frequency in the correct NAV radio (see image). Normally the FMC does this for you, based on the ARR runway you have selected. I press LOC to capture the ILS and then I press APP to capture the G/S, like you, so your method is fine.

On this same subject, my nav radio doesn't give frequencies since my last navigraph cycle update. Is there something else that needs to be done? Happens on both the 757 and 767. I just used the .exe update that comes with the cycle info.

They are working fine in both my 767 and 757 using the latest 1106 AIRAC from Navigraph. Try downloading CS_1106 and installing it from the newly downloaded file.

I enter the frequency in the correct nav radio, but the problem is, I believe it captures the G/S, but the Auto-Land light never turns on, and the plane doesn't perform an ILS landing. If I'm not explaining it well enough, please do let me know. But there is one thing. Maybe it never connected because I was just test-flying the plane, and manually put the frequency in? I wonder if it will work if I let the FMC do all the work.
