707 Yoke Problem
May 30th, 2011 at 11:40pm
Print Post
Hi,
All of my 707 and 727 simulators' yokes oscillate fore and aft when the auto-pilot is turned on. When I turn off the auto-pilot, the oscillation stops. I searched the forum and have not been able to find anyone else experiencing this issue.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Carl

It's could be your joystick (yoke?).

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and have the same issue. It could be that the dead zone is not big/wide enough on the forward/backward and left/right axis. Or, in my case, it could simply be that my joystick is getting old and the internal electronics are now unreliable. Calibrating the joystick helps, but doesn't remove it completely for me.
