A Cry For HELP!

I recently experienced an issue with my joystick. Yesterday afternoon, I was using it and it worked absolutely fine, but later on, I went to use it and it did not work at all nor has it ever since. It is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Theres is no damage to the cord, or the joystick it self. Nothing is loose or feels abnormal, it just completely stopped working. It is only a few months, has anyone else had this issue? How do you I fix this?

Please help!!

This has happened to me before. Plug it into a different USB port, and blow into the plug to clear any dust/particles.

If you plug it into a different USB port and it still doesn't work, try to reinstall the driver. I think you have the installation CD. If you don't find it try to download it here http://www.logitech.com/en-us/441/291?section=downloads&bit=&osid=14

Thanks for your help guys! But I fixed it!  Grin All I had to do was restart my computer. Phew... I didn't want to have to buy a new joystick with a trade-off of a CS aircraft!

There is definitely something crazy with the Logitech 3D Pro Extreme joysticks. Mine does crazy thing all the time. I must be lucky though if I unplug it and plug it back in or move it to another USB port, it behaves itself for a couple of weeks. After that, it misbehaves and I have to do it again! Roll Eyes

I've never had that problem, but it's good to know how to fix it in case it ever occurs.

It would suck to have to buy a new one. I remember when I first bought FSX I saw it was only $25... then I looked at the price of the joystick.  Grin
