727 not working at all - SOLVED

Hi gents!

A few days ago I had to format my Windows installation partition, and left FSX in another HDD without touching anything, with everything working correctly.
After doing the necessary tinkering in the system registry in order to restore the old FSX entries (which I had saved prior to format), everything seemed to be working correctly apart from the SimConnect which I immediately installed.
Today I picked my 727 for a flight and it's not working. Like, battery switch safeguard doesn't open although it plays the clicking sound, any switch on the overhead is clickable, cockpit windows are open and if I click on the handle to close them they'll start closing but they won't do it, neither Ctrl+E seems to do anything.
I've already re-installed the 727, as I thought it could have any issue with activation, but it isn't working yet. Undecided

Could someone please lend me a hand? Smiley

Thanks in advance! Wink

I recommend that you download a new 727 installer. To do this:

Check-in to Your Profile > Select product > Extended Download Service > Get New Links

Hope this helps.

Hi Mark!

Didn't do the trick, had to solve it the hard way (reinstall FSX) but thanks anyway! Wink
Maybe there was some component that the FSX setup installs into Windows system folders, that was lacking or something... but now it's all fine.

Thanks again, Mark! Wink

Hi Ricardo.

Sorry to hear that you had to go through all that to get it working. Sad
