Interior Paint Kit?
Mar 16th, 2011 at 11:28pm
Print Post
Hello,

Is it possible to change the interior colors of the 767 or any CS aircraft with?

I thought I had read about that somewhere on the CS website but couldn't find it.

Also, if it is...

is there a way to have a different interior for each individual aircraft livery?

would be great to get at least some of the interiors to coincide with exteriors.

thanks

Dave

As far as I know, Captain Sim does not provide interior paint kits.  Sad

It's likely, but I wouldn't know. I'm not well-versed in that area. Good luck!

You need to open the DDS textures and edit them from there. It's the only way to do it. I use DXTBmp (download link at the bottom of the page) to open DDS files, from there you can export them to a paint editing program (you can whichever one you use).

I've been looking at repaint tutorials and was just going to look for a program to open the DDS textures in PS.

I'm going to give it a shot and see what I'm up against.

thank you Mark,

Dave

I think on Simviation or flightsim, there is a Delta and Lufthansa interior paint, that's easy to install. I have it, and It's great for movies. But don't take my exact word for it.

I've been able to update my interiors, found the plug-in for PS7 to work with DDS textures, makes it a lot easier. Also the DDS viewer...both at the nvidia site.
