Trouble adding new liveries 707-300

Hi everyone,
Trying to figure out ACE and adding new lieveries for the 707-300. Everytime I try and add a livery I go to Aircraft variation, make a selection, select "add new". Then In the "open window",in file name I select. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Captain_Sim\707\ace\txt. In the file type field I selection description.txt. When I try and then open, I get a message " Invalid description. txt file. Selection ( texture ) is missing.
I'm missing something here. Can someone help. Thanks so much.

Hi, Brian.
Not all liveries can be added through the ACE. E. g. the newer ones from Nathan for the 707 all go the old school way with having to edit the aircraft.cfg manually.
See the readme file of those liveries for details on it.

For the ones which offer the ACE installation, you have to point to the description.txt in their folder. So you would point to download\nice liveries\livery1\description.txt to allow the ACE to work.
Again, if there isn't any description.txt, the old method mentioned above has to be used.
