Can't Reinstall my C130

After having to reinstall FSX, I can no longer install a WORKING version of the C130.

When I reinstall the Herc, the installer sees the OLD install location, and I have to change it (I have tried running the F1 registry applicaion).

Installation goes through okay, but selecting the Herc in the FSX Freeflight menu causes CTD.

All my other Captain Sim aircraft have installed fine.

I have tried to raise a ticket, but see NO LINKS for this, even after checking in.

When FSX crashes, I get the following error data...

Problem signature:

What's this doing in the X-load forum?

Anyways, the only thing I can think of is to get a new download link from your login (Extended Download Links).

Dougal.

It was in the X-Load - General forum, but Tanya has moved it to here, where it belongs. No big deal really. Wink

Have you done a registry clean for the C-130?

How to clean Registry:
1. Uninstall the product
2. Go to Start> Run. Type: regedit, click OK.
3. Find the product entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\ (please note, for Windows 64bit versions it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CaptainSim\)
For example: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CaptainSim\C130XPRO
Make sure you are going to delete correct folder!
4. Delete the product entry folder.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Install the product.

Will try that Mark - thank you.

PS  Sorry, didn't realise I'd posted in the wrong forum.

Tried that - removed the registry entries, but sadly it didn't work.  Selecting the C-130 from the list list crashes FSX Cry

The installer is still trying to install to E:\FSX (the previous installation) instead of F:\FSX

Will try to raise a ticket also...

Sorry, but no I can't. I'm sure Tanya (Captain Sim 2) will sort that out once she reads all of this.

At least you got it sorted out now. Grin
