Hi, there. I have most of CS's Boeing aircraft (well, all, but the 757 kept causing problems with my computer, but that was boxed, so it was the distributer's fault, likely), and I was wondering about adding the 727 to my collection. Is it a much different experience from the others?

i think buying directly from CS is better, since when updates for the aircrafts are released, you have them right away from the developer

I still like this plane, you'll get the 707 like atmosphere (although this one is newer in concept) and you are able to do some short runway stuff while the 707 is very limited there. So being a freight dog with a preference for steam gauges might catch you when remote places are yours.
Of course, the appearance won't impress you that much after looking at the very current modelling (in the sim) of the 707, so be prepared for a slight fallback there.

Still, the thing is worth buying and flying it, also the tuning stuff around the forums is worth a look. I could name some remaining bugs, but I'm confident so far and it seems that development is still going on, so no dead horse in the hangar. 
From the sound side the updated sound pack helped much and if it doesn't, maybe some good value addon pack can fulfil any other needs.
Of course, Civa INS can be integrated  and fits well into the "old" atmosphere of the deck.
