The Boeing 707 was too old for an altitude selector. It wouldn't agree with the gae and patina of the 707, as well as the 727.

well, I understand then that the 707 version is old too old to be lacking some systems that were put´s later, as the apu, ok tks  Smiley

Personally, I think the lack of an altitude selector is wonderful. It makes things easy to handle.
