Sigh, my 707 problems never cease. Well, admittedly, this one isn't too bad. The only thing is that when I open my ACE for the 707, I can only access the Fleet page. If I click the "Preflight" tab, nothing happens... what's wrong here?

There is nothing wrong with your ACE. It is incomplete, but that is the way it is in 707, for now.
I suspect that once the Expansion Models show up the 707 ACE will be complete. <- I don't know, I'm just guessing, so don't quote me on that! Wink

But, do we actually have to buy the expansion to get ACE with the pre-flight loading option, or will ACE be a free download for those who already own the 707 Paxx version?

Good point Edwin. I would say no you don't need to buy a te expansion to get it. If/when the ACE is updated, it is highly likely that a KB# will be made available so everyone can get the completed ACE.

It is just my guess that the ACE might have been worked on, as well, and so when the Expansion Models are released, the ACE might also become available. Wink

Can I add the weight of passengers in the Fuel and Payload window, then?

That should be yes.

I also own the 727 and the ACE works in there and you can set the amount of Paxx and Cargo weight.

It is very handy when you combine it with the program FSCaptain.

I had the problem that when not using ACE and i was loading the aircraft with FSCaptain, that everything was in the front and my nose incl. wheel made a dive into the ground.

I still have that problem with 707 incl FSCaptain, so as soon as it's released, that problem is solved as well.

The only prob i have is with 727 ACE and the Cargo part. When i use FSCaptain with the cargo option i get an amount example 48000lbs, when i go into ACE and Cargo option i can only set the weight per ULD.. however, i cant figure out how many ULD's fit in the aircraft and calculate total weight for main and lower cargo deck. hope someone can shine a light on that?

If you mean in the updated ACE. I guess the answer is yes. I can't see Captain Sim relasing an update of the ACE if it hasn't been improved or completed.

@Edwin. The 727-100F holds 8 ULDs and the 727-200F holds 12 ULDs. All you do to fnd out, is load them until there is no room for any more. Wink

thanks!

But what confuses me a bit is that in the ACE of the 727, you can provide a weight per unit and it is adjustable.. There is no size notificatin on how big one ULD is, so have no clue on how to set up the correct weights. When you go to the passengers part, you can set up how many passengers you have and they are equally spread over the plane, and you can fill up parts in the low cargo part. Would be nice to have that in the Cargo part as well Smiley
