Hi. Is there a way to have the checklist accessible from the in cockpit kneeboard? It“s empty...

I have it as a pdf, but when I advance the pages the sim pauses every time. And I have to run fsx windowed.

Any help appreciated.

Turn off pause on task switch or whatever its called in fsx's config and the sim wont pause when you switch to another program in windowed mode.

EDIT apparently its called "PAUSE_ON_LOST_FOCUS=0"

Thanks, I'll try that. That's fsx.cfg entry I have to edit (or add that line)? But I'd still like the convenience of calling up the checklist on the kneeboard. Any clues?

The easiest way to do it is while you are in FSX: Menu (ALT), Options (O), Settings (E), General (G) and uncheck "Pause on task switch". You won't need to edit FSX.cfg or anything else.

Besides that, I always use FSX in window mode and not full screen. It makes it easier to switch tasks that way and on a long flight I can play solitaire and see FSX in the background. Wink

Hi Mark,

Uhu... Do you usually play Solitaire when you're a pilot in command during long flights?...You should be careful and pay attention to the aircraft's instruments and ATC communications...You should be fired...LOL Grin

Be advised that making changes to the options within fsx can cause certain items in your .cfg to be reset back to the max value possible to set in the settings dialog (the LOD range for example, if youre running a higher LOD range than max (is it 6?))

You need to create one yourself. Although I have done my own for the 707, I haven't done one for the 757.

Create a text file (or .htm if you prefer) and save it in the CS_B757-200 folder, edit the aircraft.cfg like this:

[fltsim.0]
title=Captain Sim 757-200 FSX 0
sim=cs757-200
model=PW
panel=
sound=PW
texture=delta
kb_checklists=xxx (where xxx equals the name of the file.)
kb_reference=

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot. Just what I needed. Guess .htm is better, lets you have pictures and other graphics in it.

Much appreciated!
