What about developing a BOEING 747-SP for fsx?

Hi @all,
Would'n it not a good issue to develop a Boeing 747-SP for FSX ?
There is no SP on the market compatible with FSX, the onlx existing SP is form Aerosim, only working on FS 2004...

I Think, there are many 747-lovers within the community of FSX, and the "Baby-Jumbo" must be sold very good...
Me, I have many planes on my fsx....but I'm still missing the 747-SP, also called "Baby-Jumbo-Jet"

That's just a stubby 747, meant for longer-range routes before they had the technology for a bigger cabin. Its kinda dumb. Sorry 747, your little brother is hard to respect.

I don't think it's a kind of dumb 747: The SP is even younger than the 707!

Wrong! The 707 came out in 1954. The 747SP was in 1975. 5 year after te -100. It was before range could be extended with the big fuselage.

IMHO, why just the SP version ?

The 747-100/200/300/SP will be good!!!

The 100 without INS
and the 200/300 with 3 IRS!

I'm with you there, we definitely need some more steam gauges in FSX to do it the old way.  Cheesy
And the 747 would add some really heavy metal being driven with classic instruments.

I flew the 747SP back in the 80's. TWA bought 2 of them to fly the Pacific routes. The plane was fun to fly, but didn't have a lot of room for passengers or cargo, so TWA sold them to Iran. The cockpit was the same as the -100, but with a few newer instruments.
