Hi Sanal.

Sounds to me like your 727 is tail heavy. VERY tail heavy. Have you changed anything in the aircraft.cfg recently that might have caused this?

Mark ,
Thanks for your reply. NO I didn't play with Aircraft.cfg file. I just tried to fly with 727.200 same result.

Which section I should look at Cfg, file and what shall I look for, if any thing changed.
Thanks
Sanal

Hi Sanal.

Your aircraft.cfg is fine. So I installed all of Michael's mods and changed all the settings in my 727-200 aircraft.cfg (yours and mine both looked the same). So I took my 727-200 for a flight.

On my 1st flight. All went fine at first. I used the AP from shortly after takeoff and settled the aircraft into it's climb, maintaining 250 KIAS. Once all was settled, I turned of the AP to take manual control of the aircraft. All hell broke loose as soon as the AP was turn off. My 727 went into a dive (TRIM was back at 0, like yours). Nothing I did was working. After pausing FSX so I could figure out what was going on I found that something had disabled my joystick, a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, control in FSX. I pressed CTR+K to re-enable my joystick so I could regain control of my aircraft. Everything was fine after that.

Although mine did not go into a sharp climb like yours, mine did the opposite, a steep descent. Once I turned my AP OFF that's when it got all messed up.

Now the really weird thing abou it all, is that it didn't happen on the next two flights I tried! I only did those three flights with the mod. Only the first one messed up.

I was going to say that I hadn't seen this on my system, but I now recall there were a few instances where the pitch control on the autopilot stopped working. Usually it happened if I put on the speedbrake with the autopilot engaged. I think once the trim stopped working as well, but started again after I left the game paused for a while. I don't know what the cause is, but my mod doesn't touch the autopilot or trim.  I haven't hadn't had it happen for a while. And I have never seen uncontrollable climbs or dives.

Michael.

It was only uncontrollable when my joystick was disabled. Once I saw I couldn't control the 727, I pause the FSX. This happened after I turned the AP off. When I found that the joystick was disabled, I re-enabled it and quickly gained control.
