It's available at The FlightSim Store here: http://www.flightsimstore.com/product_info.php?products_id=2071&osCsid=6mrp80mgc... (download product @ $13.99 USD).

No worries Christopher.

I'm not sure how you might be purchasing it, or if you already have. But if you are buying it using a credit card outside of Australia, you might be charged extra (my bank charges me 3% for overseas purchases), so you might prefer to buy it from here: http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_70_97&products_id=3594 (still $13.99 USD).

I'm still undecided on buying it. It's very cheap, so I am seriously thinking about it. Wink

Mark,

I would recommend you to buy it if you want the CS707 to sound like the real deal. With TSS, one almost always get the realism one is after.  Smiley

How is the reverse sound with the TSS..?! Any Youtube examples?
Unfortunately I find that realistic, powerful and thundering reverse sound is missing on most addons!  Huh

Okay! got an Youtube TSS example from Marks link. Reverse better - however could still use an extra boost...

I totally agree with that comment, and I find it baffling. Application of reverse thrust is one of the most impressive (and audible) features of airliner landings, so why is this almost never simulated properly? The CS707 reverse thrust sounds are nowhere near loud enough.

When I first started watching that video, I thought it was a Captain Sim 707! I was about to come back in here and ask what you did to make it louder! Embarrassed

Smiley actually it is possible to edit soundfiles in some wave editor. You can make it louder and play with equalizer Wink reverse sounds for almost any aircraft stored in separate files, so its simple.

Yes indeed! Me already did so yesterday! Can't think of any favored plane with sound files that I haven't manipulated!  Wink
However the base sound material must be of a reasonable quality, otherwise the job will be too hard.

So after reading the recommendation from Johan Nordqvist on the TSS, I went mad and bought TSS sounds for both CS707 and the CS767 RR engines.
The TSS sounds turned out to be a huge step towards better quality - However STILL with a lack of proper thundering reverse sound from outside views! sounds as a vacuum cleaner! Whereas the reverse sound from inside the VC cockpit turned out to be okay.

Therefor I took the 707 the Reverser-DC.wav and mixed it into the weak Reverser-b.wav and saved all into a new Reverser-b.wav sound.
And bingo! - WOW!  Cheesy

Mix amplify ratio:
60%   Reverser-b.wav
200% Reverser-DC.wav
(AVS Audio Editor)

Leave the cfg's alone! and remember to backup the original wav's!
