Mark,

Fortunately it seems that everything is under control. I hope your health returns to normal. And thanks for sharing your bike accident's story.

Wow, I'm impressed and I've read through the whole story of yours, Mark.
Thanks for sharing such personal things here and also thanks for being here.
I think that most (no! all!) buddies around really enjoy your stay in the forums and the knowledge and help you give to them.
You're a good one, no doubt about it.

I'm really glad to read that you left that hospital and can continue on your hobby and being with your family.
This "glad" is exceptional as I don't really know you but, yes, I'm glad. I actually surfed the site for looking in this very thread to see what's going on with you.
Hoping this can be read as the thing it was intended to be, a compliment.

What also makes me smile are the wishes and statements from the other guys in this thread. Seems like the Internet anonymity sometimes turns out really nice.  Smiley Thanks to all.

Now lets head back to the cockpits, fellow captains.  Cool

I hope the floods in Australia that have now reached Victoria, have not had any negative effect on you or your family.

Hi Bernardo.

We are getting a LOT of rain here, which is welcome. This time last year our water supply was at about 7% of its total capacity, now, it is nearly at 100% and overflowing. We always end our droughts, here in Australia, with floods! It's normal. Very glad our 13 year drought is finally at its end. It's tragic for the loss of life and property with the flooding though.

In answer to your query. No, hardly affected at all. We are quite safe where I live. Go 20 kilometers (12-13 miles) away in almost any direction and it gets pretty bad. My daughters "in-laws" got a bit flooded, but not too bad. My sister and her family were almost cut off from  the rest of the world because of the flood waters covering the roads.
