2D doesn't do Captain Sim justice

Hey guys,

Just wanted to share my experience with the 707 and NVidia's 3D vision.

After turning on 3D vision in the 707, not only can you see the depth, but the resolution of cockpit objects appears to be markedly improved.

Only now can you really see how exquisite the VC is. The more you zoom out, the more obvious the 3D effect becomes. The artificial horizon is indeed a sphere housed in the panel, and all the switches and levers appear to pop out at you when you get close enough.

I'm getting great FPS with the 707, and the 3D effect does not take away from that at all.

I'm running a i7 960, factory clock settings, 12 GB RAM and a GTX 480. At a certain payware version of YMML, I'm seeing at times over 30 fps with all settings maxed except for autogen at sparse.

If you guys have similar specs, I highly recommend trying to fly this bird in 3D... the 3D does darken the image a bit, but it's nothing that the white flood lights of the cockpit can't illuminate.
