I tried it, but it always looks bad. As the landing lights are hard coded into the model, the outer lights (if you create shockwave lights there) won't go off when the slats retract. And the inners are so close to the fuselage, that those "stripes" are produced even when the narrow beam is selected. So shockwave lights are possible, but will never work and look as they should.
