Sorry, but I could not get to upload to Avsims server yesterday. This morning, 10. December I finally had luck to deliver my files to Avsim, wich means, that the TWA repaint should be available soon. In the meantime, I have uploaded another screen of the old lady.

The TWA repaint can now be downloadet at

http://www.flightsim.com/newfiles/all/all0.htm

or at http://www.avsim.com/

Search for the filename  cs_twa_707_fsx.zip, or TWA.

Kindly Smiley

Excellent! this old TWA paint is what TWA will be remembered for, I just download it.

Listen, repaints are lacking in both 707 and 727 fsx, requests are in the thousands. Is it possible to post a tutorial so we can do our owns? I ask this because the normal repaint tutorials found on google or youtube are good for anything "except" captain sim models.

First they are generic tutorials for fsx and fs9, and they never tell you a basic step by step, I have downloaded the 707 repaint kit, have the photos of the new plane I want, have dds converter, photoshop cs3, etc. Is a step by step possible? thanks

I just about died when I saw this baby. Thanks so much. I did change the config to advance...since fleet 8707 was a ADV. Thanks so much for this. Replace the pratt/whitney emblems with the TWA DynaFan emblems and you have the whole package. when I think about though, I believe the DynaFan emblems went away about 1968.

Thank you all for the kind words. It is a great encouragement.

I think the PW emblems should be removed (Forgot that), and yes there are no dynaFan emblems on my any of my reference photos.
If you need a correctionfile without the PW emblems, I will send you one:

Thank you for the conf cange suggestion. I did not know, that fleet 8707 was a adv.

Kindly

Jakob,

I would love that link to delete the P&W emblem (just want to be as real as it was back then)..as far as advanced...I only say that because of the nose gear door. I may be wrong, but I believe that the -B had the flapper gear door (accurately done by captsims by the way) and the ADV was the more traditional double door as with most aircraft today and since. of course avionics are the true barometer of a real, true  ADV A/C.

But Yes...you hit this one just right. She looks like a photo. I just cannot fly anything other paint but yours for now. Smiley

Thanks for that work, Jakob. It looks really nice and will surely go for a flight on one of my next trips in the 707.
