Legendary 707 repaints compatible with Captain?

I'm wondering if something I read elsewhere is true - that addon liveries for the Legendary 707 can be used for the 707 Captain?

If so, it would be great if Captain Sim could make the Legendary liveries available to purchasers of the FSX aircraft who don't have the FS9 model - the FSX order number won't give access to that part of the site.  For nostalgic reasons I really want to find a real (blue) BOAC livery for this amazing aircraft.

Thank you for a great job Captain Sim - and for reducing the price to bring it more within reach in these difficult times.

you need to covert them from bmp to dds using a dxt converter

heres a link for one i use for my repaints http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/download/dxtbmpx.EXE

here is a small how to use page
http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/ hit the icon at the bottom with the camo plain and the words dxtbmp

The way to do it is here: http://www.captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1282647312/1#1

If you leave them as .BMP they work fine (you don't need to do anything with them). If you change them to .DDS you need to flip them vertically. To do this in DXTBmp.exe, from the menu select Image > Flip Image and Alpha
I recommend Flip Image and Alpha just in case the texture does actually have an Alpha channel that may appear as empty. I think it's also a good habit to get into, otherwise you might forget to flip the Alpha in a texture that actually does have one that needs to be flipped.

One more question guys!! after editing the image, how can I make it crisp clear instead a little blurry? once you upload the repaint it doesn't come out as crisp as the unedited one!!
Please advise
