BAE 146

Let this serve as a petition for the next, next project.

I missed out on the 'next project' thread. I saw that this got a couple of votes. But lost out to yet another 737 variant. I know the 100/200s are not that prevalent but Boeing is over done on the FSX platform. This is a great little commuter that NO ONE has done. And Cap Sim is perfect for it. The Historical Jets Group did some great models but fell short on the virtual panel and the realism. The VC project got started but fizzled out. So before you even start the 731/2, I am asking now, please make the next 'next project' the BAE146.

It's all about the clams!!!!

ronyo30 is correct! There is a BAE 146 coming from that developer. There is also an Australian payware developer working on a BAE 146.This Australian developer has already released a "BAE 146 soundpack" that you can purchase now and use with the aircraft once it is released. I would love a BAE 146. A 4 jet engine regional commuter with STOL capabilities, how cool is that! It is also the only 4 engine aircraft cleared to land at EGLC. Mostly,I would like a BAE 146 simply because it is not another Boeing. I love Boeing aircraft, but they are everywhere in flightsim, from 707 to 777. Flight simulation allows a person to experience a world that most of us would never be able to experience otherwise. This includes aircraft other than Boeing. So,here are 2 developers working on a payware BAE 146.That is great news and I can't wait to fly them in FSX. I hope the flightsim community can shout collectively for aircraft that are missing in FSX. How about a Russian aircraft? I have started a post on that topic if you would like to lend your voice. If enough people want it and the developers see MONEY, then one of the developers will hopefully pick up the project. Read my post about "Russian aircraft" and let your voice be heard, even if you just want to BASH the topic. I enjoy those replies as well.

Well, Areosoft has not made a decent plane with the exception of the Catalina IMO. Areosoft =/= Capsim. I would expect cheesy looking vc and 1/3 the actual functionality of systems etc. Just my opinion...

If you are talking about IRIS, here is a quote from an admin on their web site....

"The 146 is way down on the list of priorities at the moment... Can't say more than that."

So between Areosoft and Iris, we can expect a high quality Jumbolino sometime between now and never. The later being the most likely unless Capsim takes up the project. :cough-cough:
