i'm sorry to ask this pretty stupid question, but can someone tell me where i can find the switch to turn on the lights in the cockpit? And i mean the normal lightbulb to see something Cheesy (the instrument lights are working fine)

it's so darn dark flying at night without any cockpit light  Roll Eyes

Edwin, in addition to the light switches in the overhead panel you can use the FSX default "shift L" and that will turn all the lights on. The cabin looks really good lit up at night.

On the overhead panel there is the Light Override Switch which is the same as pressing SHIFT+L. See '707 Captain' FLIGHT MANUAL Part II – Aircraft and Systems, page 51:

O20. LIGHTS CONTROL

2. Light Override Switch
OVERRIDE – Turns the lights located under the Pilot’s light shield and Engineer's panel fluorescent flood
lights to full intensity

It also turns on the passenger cabin lights.

Hope this helps

Sure does!  I've always felt that Boeing nailed the lighting just right for all series of its jets.

im having some issues with lighting.  my nav lights are not coming on.  i bought the 707 and 757 from captain sim and on both the nav lights are not working.  landing and taxi lights come on, but no nav or cabin lighting visible from exterior.  is this normal??

Anyone tried with success to remove to strobe lights? I believe 707's came before strobs...and not to mention having the strobs flashing at the gate. I know they are connected with the NAV lights and so far have no luck pulling to strobs only out.

And how about a logo light? Would love to have a logo light on the tail. Anyone have a config for these two I would greatly like to have.
