Nice video! You did a really smooth landing too. Well done.

Just out of curiosity, are you using the EZdok Camera Addon? I have it, but I keep turning it off because I can't get used to it. Sad

Very nice video. Thanks.

And Mark, exactly what is your problem with EZdok? For me it has become an essential part of FSX. Provide some more details and perhaps I can help you out. I too had a terrible time with it at first. But persistence really paid off.

Yes I use EZdok and that is really not dispensable, I see every nook and cranny of the plane. During long flights I also take a walk in the Pax-Cabin and sometimes I go to the kitchen in the plane  Grin

What's the real point in the EZDok if fsx allows you to walk around the cabin?

I have heard many people say how great it is. I bought it a while ago, but at present it is uninstalled. I couldn't figure it out, not that I was trying as hard as I should have. I really should get it up and running. Sad

Well in the meantime, you can use these controls (if you don't know them already):

Shift+Enter/Backspace = up/down
Ctrl+Enter/Backspace = backwards/forwards
Shift+Ctrl+Enter/Backspace = side to side

That is how I move around the cockpit/cabin at the moment. So yes. I do know those commands. Wink

I also need to buy some new headphones so I can start using my TrackIR again. Sad

Nice video there, mendoza and great location to fly to. I had the 707 Cargo at LTAC lately. I think I was coming in from LLBG or so.

Concerning the EZCA addon, one can clearly see the difference it makes when just watching closely. The small screen motions may seem subtle, but really enhance the whole atmosphere when flying, compared to the almost static view when using the standard FSX system (it has some momentum too, but that's different).
There's a freeware addon camera tool around which serves the main purpose of walking around in the aircraft, but the EZCA thing is for the effects and also the very versatile TrackIR setup then. Also, the video makers will like it as it offers some options for setting up unique camera effects and locations.

See it as one of those things where you ask yourself what's the hype about until you've tried it yourself. After setting it up, I wouldn't want to miss it anymore and can't imagine a flight without it. Same as TrackIR in a way. The videos alone don't show you the huge gain of atmosphere (especially when you watch them in this small youtube window, go fullscreen!), you have to try it.

Mark, I've read some comments on the not so easy EZCA setup but didn't experience huge problems so far.
You can start from the default FSX planes where you'll find various presets (in motion and position) already available. E. g. just copy over the shaking effects from the default 747 to the 707 and you'll see some major improvement in the fun of flying.
The basic setup is mainly a thing of getting some buttons right and TrackIR ready to accept EZCA as his client, not FSX anymore. There are videos in the forums which will help you on this. http://www.simforums.com/forums/my-ezdok-setup-videos_topic38637.html
Always make sure to use the latest version (also from the forums), so you get a stable operation with all current features (easier setup then).
