Captains,
I spent this weekend testing the wonderfull 707, even flying her in an online-event on the IVAO network from Munich to Frankfurt. I collected some usefull information on flying the old lady from various sources (CS manual, AVSIM, etc.) As a result I would like to share some of the expierience with all of you.
Please note: these data are not from an official source but a destillation of my personal opinion, public information and so on. Please feel free to ignore it and find a better solution-it's just my personal way to treat this old lady kindly.

flaps schedule and speed bug settings for approach:
Vfl50=Vth = treshold speed (see chart above), approximately Vstall50*1,3
Correction: headwind component+1/2 gust component, in total max. 20 knots
Vapp = Vth + 5 + wind/gust correction
Flaps 50 40 25 14 0 Speed Vapp Vapp+10 ...+20 ...+30 ...+40
Bug 1: Vapp+50, Bug 2 Vapp+20, Bug 3 Vapp
Precision-(ILS-) approach:
-LOC intercept: max. Vapp+50 -2 dots below G/S Vapp+20, Flap 25 -1 dot below G/S gear down (for high speed approaches when passing 1500 ft AFE) -1000 ft AFE Vapp, Flap 50
non-precision-approach, visual, circling:
-reach final fix with Vapp+20, flap 25, gear down -reach 1000 ft AFE with Vapp, flap full, stabilized, landing checklist complete
missed approach:
-set thrust, at positive rate gear up, flaps 25, climb at Vapp+20, when clear of obstacles or passing 800 ft. AFE flap 14, accelleration to establish climb speed, fully retract flaps
Happy landings
Stefan
