Turnbuttons and cockpit ergonomy

Hi

So after spending half a dozen hours (yes, already Cheesy ) in the wonderful 707 vvirtual flightdeck, I have just a little tiny suggestion to make, regarding turnbuttons (heading bug, NAV radio frequency...)

Currently, in order to turn the buttons to change NAV frequency for instance, you need to 'click-and-drag' the buttons, which makes for rather unprecise dialing and takes more time than it should.
While I think this is a good way to represent how the pilot would grab and then turn those buttons, it damages the cockpit's overall ergonomy and doesn't really help in some situations where the workload becomes quite heavy.

Could the system maybe be changed to a simple righ/left click system (hidden click zones) for +/- dialing, where one click would change one notch at a time ?

Maybe what I'm asking for is just not feasable at this time, or other users will disagree with me.

Please regard this little suggestion as positive criticism. I understand you probably have other stuff to worry about right now and I am very happy about how the cockpit works, but this would just be an extra nice touch.

Cheers

Nico

Mine left-click/right-click.  The only one I have to drag is the pitch control, which is fine.

I think this is a great sim, and far superior to the FS2004 CS707.

My only complaint is about the radios and setting freqs.  I have many add-ons from various suppliers, so I have a lot of experience with different ways to make the VC controls work (left click, right click, wheel, press wheel, hold and drag).  The freq knobs on this bird are the most difficult I have found.  As the earlier posting said, I found the left and right clicks work best.  However, one click (forming the clinched hand) doesn't do anything to change the freq.  A double click moves the 10s by increments of one and the decimals by .5 for maybe 3 double clicks, pausing between each pair.  An additional double click, even after waiting 3 to 5 seconds, starts the knob spinning, and it's impossible for me to stop the spinning on the right digit.  Is there some protocol for number of clicks and digit increment, or time to wait between clicks or some other method I haven't found?
This is also true for setting the course and setting the heading into the doppler.
Any help anyone can give me will reduce my blood pressure significantly. Otherwise the 707 is terrific.

Thanks in advance.
