i know i posted this already but i realized it was in the wrong c130 section sorry  Undecided
i have a few question about the repaint feature of ace and also some general animations that i cant seem to find. i apologize in advance if these questions were asked before.

Okay so, first of all how do i bring up the ACE panel? ive checked the manual for it but it doesnt say how to bring it up

my other question is about the marines c130- the one that has the extra fuel pods- how do you bring up the window to extend/retract the fuel probes? the manual said i need to be in a certain view but when i cycled through the views i didnt see the view it says so i was wondering if one of you guys know how to do that
thanks in advance

for refuel lines on the kc models and  gunship controls hit alt on your keyboard and the tool bar across the top screen will appear ->go to  View -> Instrument Panel -> Refuel or gun controls for ac-130

and for other animations i think its shift+2

OK, Left click on your Start button in the lower left corner of the screen, then left click on All Programs, then scroll down to captsim (they are alphabetical) and left click.  Depending on how many captsim programs you have, one of the them will be C-130 or similar. Now you can left click on ACE.  If you have several captsim program, you will have an ACE program for each.

You can place your mouse over the ACE progam line and Right Click and choose to Add to Start Menu if you like.  This will eliminate the need to scroll down and select.

Littlezav,
I searched the user manaul and it just assumes you will know where to find the ace.exe file because it does not tell you anyplace.

You can also find ace.exe in the Microsoft Flight Simulator x folder in the Captsim folder, then the 130 folder, and finally the ace folder.  Left double click on the EXE file and it will open.  May have to click Yes.
