I was wondering of anyone might be able to do a repaint of an RCAF C-130 as shown in airliners.net. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Canada---Air/Lockheed-C-130E-Hercules/1324678/&si... Thanks

Hi Sara. That would be awesome. I have seen a few of these over the past week and the paint is a dark grey as compared to the lighter grey that came with the original C-130X package.

Regards

Hi again,

just an update, textures going well having done some research into the details on the CC130-E.
I've been reworking the sides, and base C130-E textures, improvements to the apu's, engines, underside wings near inboard engines, forward rwr/ir receivers, signage, tail panel, updated specular and bump maps (already using update on my previous texture above forward door),
and will release them in DXT1 & DXT5 textures, although the latter are quite large (1.4mb each compared to 0.7mb for the DXT1) but much better reflections for the gloss paint.
The files will be to big for the captainsim website limit, so will place them on the simviation website, which is free to use, although faster if a member.

I'll paste the link tomorow, and photos on my Flikr page,

best wishes,

sara

Okies,

Repaint just finished an hour ago,
I've uploaded it to Simviation - FSX Payware,

As soon as they post it oon the website i'l paste the link,

Usually less than 24hours, but for now heres some snapshots I took on doing final testing after re-installing it with ACE.

The file was to big to upload to the captainsim website (Greater than 5mb),
I might do some more CAF C130's after this one,

Hope you enjoy it & best wishes,

sara
