I am on a mission to...

post some screenshots other then that of the 757  Grin . So this mission takes me in the lethal F/A-18D from CS XL with 2 great liveries by Lars Domen. Every since I had to reinstall FSX after a total HD crash (which btw is a real pain and takes bloody ages) it has at least given me the oppertunity to do plenty of test flights. One of them I felt was worth taking some shots from and posting them.

I hope you enjoy these unedited shots from FSX as much as I did in making them:
(the entire series can be seen at http://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii172/Soya4me/TV%20Setup/FSX/2010/CS%20XL/?al...)

Take off from Lone Pine and flying over Ozx's freeware Deathvalley:

Cockpit view of what looks to be an approaching desert storm:

The cockpit view is stunning

And the view is equally breath taking on the outside

Flying into the approaching storm

A nice sunburst moment

Some random picked shots from the entire series

Thank you for your time, hope you enjoyed the view.

Hi Soya.

Great pics, as usual. The mountains look great and very real. What, if at all, scenery mesh do you use? I'm seriously thinking of getting FS Global 2010 and was wondering if perhaps you are using it.

Thanks Mark, I am using default mesh although the scenery you see there is Ozx freeware Death Valley and it may come with it's own mesh, I am not sure.

Thanks Soya.

Just so you know. I've just been to the Ozx downloads and found the Death Valley + HolgerMESH download. So my guess is that you have HolgerMESH with that the scenery. Grin

I guess I should have gone there in the first place.
