Dear Capt Sim,

I bought the Capt Sim 757 for FS2004 the other day after reading your website saying it has a realistic flight model.

I was looking for a good flight model i.e. accurate pitch / power and EPR / N1% values.

After flying the software I find this is not so. This is what I expect from a 757 with RB211–535E4 engines.

Flying  level at 5000 ft at 80 Tonnes
This is what I expect (from Boeing tables);

+ 80 (204 kts) 1.16 EFR (57%) 5.5 NU (degrees nose up)
+ 60 (184 kts) 1.18 EFR (58%) 7.0 NU
+ 40 (164 kts) 1.18 EFR (59%) 7.5 NU

This is what the Capt Sim model gave;

+ 80 (204 kts) 1.28 EFR (51%) 4 NU (degrees nose up)
+ 60 (184 kts) 1.31 EFR (54%) 6 NU
+ 40 (164 kts) 1.32 EFR (56%) 7 NU

Can you explain this, they are quite different, especially the Pitch and EPR values.

Regards, ID.
