Hey guys!

Captain Sim in my mind definitely makes the most realistic planes out there for FSX, so if it takes years for a plane to come out, I think that's just fine especially considering that no new FS Versions will be coming out.

On a side note, I personally am more interested in the commerical jetliners being used right now than anything else.  The 707 and 727 are great, but I think that the 757 and 767 are definitely the best payware planes out there, and if they ever came out with a 777, 787, 737, A330 or something like that, I'd be thrilled and it would definitely be worth $50 or more.

Can't wait until the release of the 777! Wink

I agree, I have purchased other aircraft from other AC sim developers and have found that CS is the best.  I will buy whatever airliner CS puts out, can't wait for the B-52.  I do love the 727, 757 and 767.  The 777 will be next.  I even purchased the 707 and installed my fs9 just for it.

Well, if I were put in charge of CS Today, I would release the following in this order:

707
777
737
747
787
717
A330
A340
A300
A320
A380
A350
MD80/90
MD10/11
DC10
DC9
CRJ-x00
Embraer E-Jets
Embraer ERJ Series
Lockheed L1011
Tupolev Jets

And then I'd take a vote and move onto some military aircraft or other classic aircraft.

Some of those airplanes were already made and some are not good enough.

737 - another company is working on 600/700/800/900/BBJ
747 - another company 747-400X
777 - another company's next project after NGX
MD80/90 - another company 80 Pro
MD11 - another company MD 11/11F
ERJ 170/175/190 - another company E-jets
ERJ 135/145 - another company Embraer Regional Jets

Those are very professional products and there is no point of making another one, since it would be a complete waste of time and money. However there is still no good A32X, A330, A340, A380 for FSX. another company made one, but it is a disaster. Fatal VC, unrealistic performance and poor quality - all of these for $35. It's too early to make B787 or A350, since we do not know much about performance, systems, etc..

What I'm really missing is Airbus A32X. Captain Sim should really think about making one, since it very popular airliner worldwide. I would definitely buy one.

Good luck Captain Sim with all your projects

Regards

Hopefully CS will NOT put you in charge of production.

Your list is all variations of the same theme.
All civilian airliners, most of which excellent add-ons already exist.

Well I'll put in my 2 cents on this. CS has created an outstanding series of aircraft, I have a bunch of them that I fly, With that said they seem to really shine in bringing out the best in older technologies ie; the 707, 727, C-130, what I would love to see from CS is a real version of the 737-100 and 200 series. There are plenty of "newer" 737's out there now.

I'd vote for the 737 100/200/300 maybe even the 400/500 Exclaim

I must disagree with kityatyi.  I have been in to Flight Simulators for a long time and Captain Sims by far makes the best planes with a great attention to detail.  I have puchased other planes from other designers but they don't have the detail like Captain Sim's planes.kityatyi wrote on May 4th, 2010 at 1:32pm:
I don't think it's a good idea to develop a 777. other is already planning it and they are awesome and it would not be a good business to create another 777.
I would howeve suggest an A330 because let's be honest, there is no perfect A330 on the market. I think CS would be very popular with an A330.
But for now I would cry for a speedtape EADI on the 767 so I can finally buy it!
Cheers!

Oh Well, I'm not CS, so yeah. I really miss FSX, all I have right now is that old FS9, but it is better than nothing.

No one knows what captain sim will do next, i personally will only get aircraft with fmc in it.

Really enjoying the new 707 guys.  Thanks for all your hard work on it.

+1 to the suggestion to do the 737-100 and -200 series.  I think this would follow naturally from both the 727 and 707 products.  Other houses are covering the 737 Classic and 737 NG quite adequately on FSX, but there is no good "original" 737 available.  SkyKing still flies 737-200s on charters here in the U.S., and a few airlines internationally (Bahamasair comes to mind) are still flying them on scheduled passenger service elsewhere.

I would also like to see the original 747 done as well.  Again, there is a good 747-400 available, but the older models are not well-represented in FSX.

Switching away from the classic Boeing birds, some other classics I would love to see would be a DC-8 or L-1011.  Or maybe even some of the Russian airliners we don't see much here in the U.S.

Cheers!
