Can anyone let me know if you are having problems with the thrust reverse sound set - when heard from inside the cockpit.  (they sound ok to me from spot view)

From the Captains seat I hear strange high pitched squeaks and it generally sounds aweful.  I'd guess its a corrupted sound file, but I'd like to know if anyone else has a similar problem.

It sounds like that in 2.2 as well.

OK thanks.

I've replaced it with my old Legendary 707 reverser file.  Its about the same length (time wise) and sounds A LOT better even if its not quite right.

Glad you got it sorted out Badger...

What I ended up doing was making a copy of the reverser_out .wav file and naming it reverser_in. That way you get the same sound inside the cockpit as outside.

Of course it was much too loud so I used a freeware sound editor (Audacity) to de-amplify it and now it sounds great Smiley
